Expand your career options with a solid understanding of business and management disciplines and how they influence an organisation’s success.

In your first year, you will develop a broad knowledge of all the management and business fundamentals while being introduced to topics you may want to explore more in your second and final years of study.

From the second year onwards, you will have increased flexibility with your module choice, so you can tailor your direction of study towards your chosen specialism. You may choose modules in a particular area of business such as HR, marketing or entrepreneurship, or you could keep your options open - the choice is yours.

You’ll be taught by leaders in their fields using real-world examples, and you'll gain knowledge and ideas that are invaluable to the modern workplace. You’ll also have the option to take a flexible placement year between your second and third year, and of course make the most of our strong relationships with businesses and alumni â€" learning from, and networking with, professionals in a range of sectors.

First year

In your first year, you will develop a broad knowledge of all the management and business fundamentals while being introduced to topics students may want to explore more in their second and final years of study.

Core modules:

- Fundamentals of Organisational Behaviour
- Business Economics in a Contemporary Society
- Introduction to Management
- Accounting and Finance for Managers

You will take one of the following:

- Analysis for Decision Making A
- Analysis for Decision Making B

You will also take our core Career Development Planning module.

Second year

In your second year, you will have the option to tailor your course to a specialism or to follow a more generalist pathway through our optional modules.
