Why choose this programme?

Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training CET course is a teaching qualification which has a teaching/training practice and wishing to work or wishing to work as teachers and is a QCF qualification and regulated by Ofqual. This Course is a replacement of Level 4 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector (CTLLS) course. All candidates, whether pre-service (Currently not working) or in-service (Currently working) must have access to 30 hours of teaching. This qualification is suitable for those delivering teaching and training in any learning discipline eg University, College, Training provider, any organisation or Company either paid, Volunteer, full time, part time or any kind of teaching.
We provide in-house / Onsite training for corporate clients in anywhere in the country. You can arrange group a booking by calling, emailing us our trainer will come to your place to deliver the training in your place. Our classroom facilities are located all over the UK to provide you the choice of delivery that suits you and your delegates on the courses. If you like to book a group of learners on the distance learning or classroom based course you will get discounted fees.

Entry requirements

Candidates for this course must have completed Level 3 Award in Education & Training or Former PTLLS Course (C&G 6302 or 6502). Candidates for this course should have a good standard of verbal communications skills.

SYLLABUS

Course Outline:

Chapter 1: Understanding roles, responsibilities and relationships in education and training.
Chapter 2: Understand the relationships between teachers and other professionals in education & training.
Chapter 3: Understand ways to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment.
Chapter 4: Be able to implement the minimum core in planning inclusive teaching and learning.
Chapter 5: Assessing learners in Education and Training.
Chapter 6: Planning and preparation to meet the needs of your learners.
Chapter 7: Using different resources for Lifelong learning Sector.
Chapter 8: Equality and diversity.
Chapter 9: Understanding and managing behaviours in a learning environment.

Course Assessment:

There is no formal examination is required, but at the end of the course you need to submit a portfolio via email or by post to our head office. You will also be required to provide supporting evidence of your teaching session.
