What will I study on the course?

You will study exciting and developmental units including:

- Understanding the Operational Requirements of a Veterinary Practice

- Comparative Functional Anatomy for a Veterinary Nursing Practice

- Infection Control in a Veterinary Practice

- Supporting the Supply of Veterinary Medicines

- Veterinary Nursing Support for Laboratory Diagnostics

- Principles of Supporting Veterinary Anaesthesia

- Principles of Veterinary Nursing Support for Small Animal Patients

- Principles of Perioperative Veterinary Nursing Support for Horses (Equine route)

You will learn, develop and practise the skills and knowledge required for employment and/or career progression in the Veterinary Nursing sector.

The qualification can be done in the context of small animals or equine.
