The MSc / PGDip Cosmetic Science can lead to a variety of career opportunities in the cosmetics industry, including product development, formulation chemistry, quality control/assurance, regulatory affairs and sales/marketing.
As a product development scientist, you will develop new cosmetic products, improve existing products and ensure that all products meet safety and regulatory standards. Formulation chemists are responsible for developing and testing new cosmetic products, while quality control/assurance professionals ensure that products meet quality standards. Regulatory affairs professionals work to ensure that products meet legal and regulatory requirements, while sales and marketing professionals promote cosmetic products to consumers.
