It gives candidates the chance to use the extensive workshop facilities at Holme Lacy College’s Rural Crafts Centre and to draw on the knowledge of expert tutors to develop and consolidate welding skills. Candidates work at their own pace to develop skills in either: Manual Metal Arc Welding (MMA) Metal Inert GasWelding (MIG) Oxy-Acetylene Welding or Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) Welding.

This piping design and stress analysis course covers topics integral to piping design and stress analysis. Participants will learn piping design fundamentals, the factors that affect preliminary piping design, initial layout, overall system configuration, and essential principles of pipe stress analysis.
